A clump forming herbaceous perennial. Unusual flowers with ruffled petals of mustard-yellow with a wine-black eye, picotee edges and a green throat. Summer flowering. Approx. 65cm x 45cm. Easy grower in sun in any reasonably fertile soil.

El Desperado will bloom early in the season and then repeat bloom late in the season. It can survive harsh conditions that many other plants can not and prefers full sun for the best performance.Daylilies are some of the easiest plants to grow and are a good choice for any gardener. The will grow in almost any soil and handle drought to wet soil conditions. Use for stand alone plantings, edging, in borders or in mixed containers and tubs.
